Our story

One room, two people, one dream.
It was 1974 when Leopoldo Montanini decided to give life to his desire. He wanted to turn his greatest passion into a job, making the most of the experience he had accumulated in the Parma canning industry.

Years have passed, almost 50, but his dedication and skills have made our company stronger and stronger. Love for the family, passion, traditional Italian recipes, these are the characteristics handed down by Montanini to his daughters and grandchildren, three generations who work in the company today.

We have always focused all our efforts on specialities that are not only delicious, but also of high quality. This quality is at the heart of who we are, how we work and what we produce.

From day one, Leopoldo Montanini has focused on the selection of ingredients, the search for the best traditional Italian recipes and the study of processes that maintain the freshness and flavour of nature.

This is why we choose to work with fresh vegetables and meat, to use whole cheeses and not to use preservatives and colouring agents. There are no compromises when it comes to quality.

In our catalogue we have a wide range of recipes: more than 60 articles from pesto to sauces, from vegetables in oil to sauces. Although we specialise in retail formats, we also have a wide range of catering formats to meet all needs.

Over the years we have developed a large production capacity, but our strength is also our maximum flexibility, which allows us to offer low minimum quantities and fast turnaround times.

Thanks to this flexibility, if you want to develop your own private label product, with us you can customise everything: choose your jar, your label and above all, let’s create together the perfect recipe for the product you have in mind.
